When you think of holiday baking, you probably picture five-pound bags of flour and sugar, a kitchen sink full of mixing bowls, and a greased apron. It’s an experience that lasts for hours and means tasting one of every cookie as it comes out of the oven.
But this is not the only way to make seasonal flavors. This chocolate chip cookie dough comes together in minutes with minimal mess. No need to turn on the oven.
And best of all, it’s full of protein. Cottage cheese is your go-to when it comes to enjoying a high-protein dessert. Although some prefer it on its own, due to its great popularity due to its versatility.
You can use cottage cheese in all kinds of different recipes. (Trust us, we wrote a few of them!) And that includes tons of veggies, but this satisfying high-protein cookie dough might just be our favorite.

Cottage Cheese Cookie Dough
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon of protein powder
- ⅔ cup almond flour
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ cup chocolate chips
Directions:
- In a food processor, combine cottage cheese, maple syrup, protein powder, almond flour, and vanilla.
- Way to smooth.
- Remove the mixture from the processor, and place it in a bowl.
- Add some chocolate chips, and dig in!
