Last Sunday and Monday we had our first good rain of the season, over 2″ total. On Tuesday there were some showers left but I managed to squeeze in an easy 30 minute ride. Then in the afternoon I rode a bit on my bike. I also did some exercise that day which felt great. I do a lot of back and hip PT as part of the game, I want to strengthen all the core muscles so I don’t have sciatica.
Yesterday was sunny and clear and I did a 70 minute walk in my recumbent, then 50 minutes upright. I threw 8 quick high jumps and stood up. This is a great way to increase the heart rate without working too hard on the glute muscles, as they are still sore from my recent experience.
